Paul Haney's Announcements
I've just been listening to tape 1815; at the point where the crew are watching a missile launch from orbit, I can hear Paul Haney's PAO announcement very faintly in the background. (I've had a recording of this announcement for many years.)
From this I presume that the public release line is on the same reel of tape, and what I'm hearing is a bit of cross-feed from an adjacent track.
Will the public release line be posted at some point in the future?

Been looking for this kind of material for many years. Although, I'd sure like to have the final day and a half. I have in my collection, Pete Conrad's flight plan from this mission, so I can see his handwritten notes while he is referencing them on the audio.
I did remove the "boring stuff", which means the dead-air. So I don't know if you'd be interesting in having the condensed version as well.

Track 1822 is playing backwards. Great Job on getting this history out to the public.
PS Please keep us old history buffs up to date with the corrections that have been made.

Thank you kindly, sir... I'll download, reverse and re-post those! I digitize these tapes on first-pass--some are so brittle that rewinding them might break them. So I capture them backwards, and then reverse them in software--but a few will get by me every now and then!
Appreciate the find~~
